Because it's a literal non-issue. There are 1083 H1Bs in the entire state of Louisiana. They don't affect ANY of the retards complaining about them in here.
Trump is going to continue to aggregate talent in the US. And it is going to be glorious.
There is zero legitimate argument for not using them as they are designed, and Trump knows it.

I am not all over the place. It might seem like it because I call a spade a spade. Trump has never went back on a core campaign promise like Immigration before. If he does, it will hurt him. I am just telling the truth like I always do.

Says more about the job conditions in the state of Louisiana.

Not to mention outside its microscopic magnitude of importance, musk has said it needs to be be reformed to make it more expensive than an American worker so only true talent is viable. There hasn't actually been any official proposal to do anything.
This news cycle spiral really only is a big deal for paid influencers like john barron that just parrot their orders and the useful idiots that gobble it up. Neither of which knew what h1b was before this week.

Yes they were.
You mean for the Vance? Trump has already reined him in.
We really should be on the same page on this.
The BEST you can hope for is proper enforcement, and that's what I want, too. If you think they're going away, you're simply wrong unless Bernie gets elected. And then we can all get handout jobs, I guess, but we'll have to get in line behind the illegal ones then.

Big Tech poised to layoff more than in 2024. You bet your bottom dollar this will be brought up as early as this time next year in prep for midterms.
People just don't understand how big of a issue MSM will make this. Before they never reported all the tech jobs being replaced by H-1B Visas. Now? They will report it and put all the blame on Elon and Trump. That's exactly how this will play out
Posted on 12/31/24 at 9:14 pm to John Barron
And when MSM does, as they have always done and always will do with something or another, exactly what is that going to lead to??

In 2 years, if h1bs are a focal issue, trump really fricked up on all the actually important issues.

Except they aren’t being used as originally designed and that is the issue.
It shouldn’t be that hard to understand

I still dont think this matters to the average American who cares about illegal Hispanics, not legal Indians
Jesus Christ Man. This has nothing to do with Hispanics or Indians. They are both foreign citizens that are replacing American workers and lowering wages for Americans. It has nothing to do with Race. ALL AMERICANS don't want less jobs and lower wages. That's what this is about

Hell, make it cost the same. There's no point in punishing a company for the locals being unemployable. Funny thing is that for a lot of jobs, it's already close when you factor in the fricking immigration lawyer at $500 an hour and the application fees. It's fricking hard for a small business.
Biggest reform needs to be with the largest companies. They can afford to mass generate applications, apparently collude with other companies to defray cost, and they lowball salaries because they control most of the jobs. We need to hit them hard with enforcement.

So you scrap a program that has been around for 72 years (for the H class visas)?
That is literally a non-starter.
Not only did Trump go all in on H1Bs in his first term, his people went fricking crazy overruling denials (increased 8X from 2017-2019.

Absofrickinglutely if they're abusing the program.
Somehow doubt they're a major player, though. They aren't even in the top 20 requesting companies according to the USCIS.
And with the boner that Biden/Obama administration has had for attacking Musk's companies the last 4 years, I'll be surprised if they're colluding. You do recall that they are being sued by the DOJ for not hiring enough illegals, don't you?

Its amazing ppl dont remember this and as if Orange has anything to lose
But hes going for Legacy this time around and needs Tech to do it
He told all in podcast he would do this. So why this out of control meltdown and attacking Doge is just unproductive
