That's your excuse. The thing is, a bunch of Trumpkins will probably buy that from him. I doubt any of those losing their jobs will though.

You're actually referring to Obama with swine flu and all the other impeachable conduct he engaged in here, Dr. Fauci, Dr. Siegel, and Mark Cuban of all people praised Trump for our response and Fauci and Cuban aren't Trump stumpers not to mention a JOHNS HOPKINS STUDY, STFU YOU HILLARY BITCH

It's obvious he didn't understand how a much stronger response and preparation was so important.

It's obvious Obama didn't know how to be an effective President yet here we are with Trump having to clean up his mess

If only he had given any credence to any of the various government entities warning him about lack of preparation.

If only he hadn't eliminated them immediately with all their bureaucracy screwing shite up at every level frick THAT shite

Didn't come from Trump. I simply stated the obvious. Again... why aren't you mad at Peolosi for doing nothing? She was encourage large public gatherings to protest Trumps racist travel ban. So was Schumer.

Yet your focus is only on Trump. Trump, trump, trump. Are you infatuated or something?

Dude, EVERY SINGLE MAJOR COUNTRY IN THE WORLD is in our boat right now.

The UK, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, the low countries, etc.

You are reaching if you truly think this thing could have been stopped from coming here?

That is very very unfair.

BTW- we are handling this much better than western europe right now. We have more medical supply than the UK and France. Way more ventilators.

What should he have done differently? Tell us with your fricking infinite wisdom what he could have done differently and I promise that you would have found a fricking reason to complain that he was doing it. I think Trump is an arse, but he has always been an arse. At least he is consistent. You only decided to hate him when he ran as a Republican.

Why don't you go study how the Obama administration handled the Ebola outbreak and get back with me. Ebola is MUCH more contagious also. So thankful that happened on his watch. It was literally caught at the airport.

To compare ebola to covid-19 is one of the most asinine things I have ever read on here.

Ebola is NOT more contagious that covid-19. Ebola requires you to be in contact with somebody's vomit or blood.

Furthermore, ebola took place in a rural african village, not a major chinese city.

Ebola doesn't have asymptotic carriers.

So they got lucky and caught patient zero? Well shite, you’ve cracked the case. Why didn’t Trump think of that? I guess he could have tried banning travel from China. No one would have considered that racist or anything.

That may be so. No excuse for the federal government to be so woefully unprepared for this though. It's almost criminal. You think these millions of Americans now without a job are going to blaming their states.

You are down right fricking retarded. The main source of information on the virus at the time was in China. Who wouldn't share info with the world. Used WHO to spread misinformation about the virus. Wouldn't let outside nations in to examine, and then after other nations finally were able to look at the virus (because it had finally spread out of china) they purposefully sent used masks, infected test kits, and sent faulty equipment to those nations to make the situation worse.

You seem to think our government should have known about a virus that wasn't known about anywhere until it LEAKED out of China. Started in China, and was not announced to the world til it couldn't hide it anymore. Already allowing its sick citizens to leach out and infect other nations.

You then blame the president for saying at the time we shouldn't worry about something. Instead of him going full blown hysteria mode because we had 1 infected person known about at the time. let me repeat that. ONE! when the only information coming out of China (the only nation who had any ample time to study it), and WHO was that human to human transmission was not believed to be happening. Now I can admit that you shouldn't believe communists. Which I'm sure we didn't, but if that was the only information out there. It doesn't mean that we should have known it was going to be a global pandemic.

IF trump would have done what you are suggesting, and went full pandemic hysteria mode with only 1 person in the US, and it turned out not to be nearly as contagious as it is. It would have cost him his relection, and caused mass panic, and rioting after the panic for him acting like a dictator, and causing mass hysteria over nothing.

Now I know your dumbass is not smart enough to think past the next dick, but good lord you are dumb if you can't see what you are suggesting was considered smart AT THE TIME. hindsight is 2020, and at the time no one at the time believed what you are suggesting was right. No the dumbass in New York were telling people to stop being racist, and go to Chinatown parades to combat the racism from the kung flu!

frick you

You are as worthless as the people you vote for.

Anything you accuse Trump of doing was done worse by these grandstanding assholes from New York and their democrat counterparts elsewhere.

Now laugh at that dipshit.

Already did

Despite crisis, Trump finds time to send Schumer an odd letter.

MSNBC: Yesterday morning, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) sent a letter to Donald Trump, urging the president to designate a senior military official to oversee a new mission: producing and distributing critical medical equipment. The senator's critique was forceful but fair.

Trump could've taken Schumer's advice. He also could've ignored the correspondence. But instead the president decided to write a letter of his own. It began:
