The establishment republicans are still owned by big corporate donors, they don’t represent the people, it’s us against them and the Marxists.

The republicans and Trump should adopt the IB proposal on immigration. For the umpteenth time posted here again:

1) end welfare for non citizens--welfare should not be an incentive for potential immigrants

2) immediately give green cards to any non citizen here that is working, paying income tax and has health insurance. Green card folks do not get welfare or EITC either. These green cards will be revoked if they fail to keep a job and fail to have health insurance

3) end the quotas on H1B and H2A visas and add to the criteria that such visa holders must have health insurance. These Visas should be unlimited and should be enforced

4) provide adequate funding to properly enforce our new immigration laws.

5) build the wall if we must but end the rights of illegal immigrants to a deportation hearing would take care of the illegal immigrants pretty quick. They must deport upon capture.

This is a responsible course of action that encourages productive members of our economy and discourages moochers.

A wall like the Israelis have, one that stops future Democrat voters from sneaking into the country.

Of course, because most republicans are political pussies who worry about negative media coverage. They enjoy being timid and would likely prefer to return to minority status so they can talk a big game knowing the Dem majority is their backstop.

Forcefully going out on a limb scares the majority of them. They are easily cowed clowns who just enjoy being at the table.

You can read and view videos of the press learning that illegals put their family's kids to include those not even in the country on tax forms. I saw one on the news who put all his nieces and nephews who still lived in Mexico on his tax returns because he got more money back.

Whatever we do must require them to prove it. Do not take their word for it.

6) all immigrants must learn and speak english at all times and children should speak english at home as well. if they, or their kids, are found to have anyt trouble speaking english after they have been here a full year, then the family will be deported.

7) only children born to current US citizens get birth right citizenship. all others including thos born to immigrants in the process of applying for citizenship must also apply for citizenship of their newborn as well which is only granted to the child if, both parents qualify for and are granted US citizenship

there FIFY

i dont want to be forced to buy health insurance and dont want anyone else to be forced to buy it either.

the 5 "adjusted" things listed above, plus #6 & #7 i added, are the way to go

Reality is they’re not coming here for welfare. I 100% agree they shouldn’t receive any, but that in and of itself isn’t the cure all. Go after the people who employ them is the only way we get this under control.

When will the wall be built? The correct answer is never.

So why are they building it currently in San Diego?

1. Non citizens don't get welfare despite paying billions in taxes.

2. Most of your illegals are doing that already. I agree.

3. Wall and deportations don't work. Just have open borders. It's better for everyone

I totally disagree with you.

These people are coming here because the welfare benefits are better.

They “hide in the shadows” bc it’s too expensive and too much of a pain in the arse to pay taxes. They get paid in cash, so their takehome is higher. They also get paid in cash by contractors, so large employers can pay their contractors cheaply, reducing wages for citizens who now deal with lower rates / hr less the mandatory withholdings necessary to fund increased welfare benefits.

Turn off the benefits and you solve 3/4 of the problem. Build a wall and the other 1/4 of the problem is solved.

And they should have green cards and be welcomed to "legal" status.

I used to agree with this but I do not anymore simply because there is no way to enforce the much more lenient immigration laws I favor without some kind of monitoring of entry.
