This is false. The transcriptions and quotes clean up “uhs” and “ums” all the time, just like most public figures. And many write-ups of his speeches edit for clarity of thought, usually omitting weird pauses and repetitions. Reporters from other countries have commented how, after only seeing written accounts of his speeches, they were shocked to hear how disjointed and incoherent his speech actually is.

Regarding the press, Trump NEVER once EVER attacked a member of the press before being attacked. Not once.
Nitwits in the press are audacious enough to suppose it is their role to debate the President or Presidential candidates. It isn't. At best, they generally are intellectually languorous and unaccountable for it. So they constantly misrepresent facts. Normally though, their mistakes are deliberate.
Trump calls them on it. They hate it. They are used to having nonlibs cow and concede. Concession is not Trump's game. Once insulted, instead of getting better, the MSM doubles down. Rinse and repeat.
You mistake Trump deriding parti pris reporting as "populism". It isn't. It is simple a refusal to allow Alinsky-style smears to define one's persona.
