The dude just needs some seasoning. He'll be a great president some day.

In a post Trump world, as long as bureaus are gutted and real reform happens, he could be a very effective leader.

It should be left to the states. With that said, that's not how the extremes see this issue (either side). It's like slavery.

not any time soon. I guess he could come out like a good Christian and pound his meaty fist on the podium as he demands a nationwide ban. But then, he'd get fricking routed in the election and we'd be staring down the barrel of Roe codified.

He cant get elected on an abortion ban of any kind..

Removing a zygote is not killing a baby. And if a mother’s life and that of the fetus are in grave danger, rational people would allow the mother and doctor make a decision without interference from politicians, state or federal.

Help save the “fetus” by aborting it?

I am pro-life but I agree that it should be left up to the states. It is not a matter of the federal government to decide

Answer the question.

Is abortion murdering a child?

Yes or no.

If you’re talking about a viable fetus, then I guess so, but that’s not the case for the vast majority of abortions. Don’t let facts spoil your

Trump is a populist and understands abortion is a losing issue in a national election.

i'm as pro-life as you get, but i'd rather leave it up to states from a pure federalist stance.

honestly, i'd rather make it unthinkable as opposed to illegal.

There's not, as long as the states aren't violating the constitution.

That's what was wrong with the states getting to set their own rules about slavery.

Killing a child in utero may not specifically, technically violate the constitution.

But it's vastly immoral and it triggers the same sniff test we use for everything else to limit freedoms—it renders a negative externality (in this case, death) to another human being in order to exercise it—so honestly what we probably need is a constitutional amendment to protect that human life constitutionally.

That's what would happen in a perfect world IMO.

I caught that too. lol

The bullshite is so deep, we are saving the little black fetus by ripping it apart and selling it to pharmaceutical companies. Good job VOR

And doesn't care philosophically one way or the other.

About abortion or federalism.

That is the current law and consistent with the Constitution... and it should have been the way it was decided decades ago in SCOTUS. But it's Trump's fault some states citizens will keep abortion legal? You TDS'ers never fail to pull mental gymnastics to blame everything on Trump.
