Hard for Trump to campaign in KY when he was tied up in court in NY.

Excuses as usual.

*Just being associated with Trump was likely enough to make sure he lost.

Not in KY. Trump's active endorsement and any sort of messaging to his base would've been huge for Cameron.

There were polls that showed a Trump endorsement would've made them vote for Cameron. Cameron talked about Trump endorsing him but Trump did nothing.

Continue pointing out Trump's cringy personality (that everyone already knows a out) as a reason we should vote for Biden instead?

Has anyone supporting DeSantis suggest that you should vote for Biden?

Cameron didn't mention Trump's name the last month of his campaign. It wasn't until the night before the election that he rolled out a Trump endorsement ad. Probably important to add context here. Cameron intentionally distanced himself from Trump and by the time he realized he was in trouble he reached out to Trump to get him to rally for him. Too little, too late. Blame McConnell and Rona.

Not an excuse. Just pointing out Trump couldn't make a personal appearance because his was in court. Something that will happen to him more and more.

You think it's Cameron who didn't want Trump campaigning for him?

Pretty clear Cameron thought listening to his advisors was prudent and they wanted him to stay away from Trump. Trump got the message.

I will continue preaching this in every thread about the KY election because I'm furious. Trump did jack shite for Cameron in the general election until the night before for something people had to use their phone to call in and attend. Beshear ran ads for a month about Trump voters supporting him and Trump did nothing. This loss is partially on him.

And here is the reason why.

Trump and his team had access to the internal polling, and new it was going to be a difficult race.

Trump knew he had to throw Cameron a couple bones, but did not want to risk being too tied to someone who lost. Even if he could have helped him.

Like Trump, hate Trump, this is simply the way he thinks and operates. Yes, he is narcissistic and self obsessed, the best you can hope is you can use and manipulate his narcissism to your benefit. This is preferable to someone who is simply corrupt and willing to sell themselves out for a bag of cash like most politicians.

The difficulty is when the wrong people get in his ear and massage his ego, they can cause great damage.

Either way, Im voting for him over Biden, I have no choice and am not going to be some self righteous tool that "votes my conscious" by writing in Reagan or something. We need the Democrats out.

Maybe someone eventually can come along with a clear vision on our side other than "the libs suck"

This is a good explanation and I can't disagree with any of your points. Like you I will be voting for Trump over Biden but I am furious over this loss because Beshear is a slimy, fake, liberal who had no reason to win.

It's what I find funny about their nonstop accusations.

If there's ANY post about Trump and it's negative in ANY WAY, that dude is going to respond within the first 5 spots...guaranteed.

We all know that if Cameron had won, every MAGAt here and Trump himself would be like “Trump is such a winner!”

Now we know that Cameron lost they’re all like “Nope. Not Trumps fault. Barely knew the guy.”

Get over it. DeSantis is not going to be the nominee.

Geez, you want to win but you can't read the room AT ALL.

Whatever happens, actual conservatives are going to continue to illuminate the reality that Trump is an overhang for the GOP and that he is a massive hindrance to advancing conservative principles, between now and the convention. And then beyond that.

You may not like this reality. You may choose to not accept it. But if Trump ends up securing the nomination, soon enough, you cultists will be discarded into the wastebin of American political history, as you watch whatever fledgling legacy Trump has, get summarily tossed away and replaced by the communists.

It doesn't even have to be about Trump. There was a topic a few weeks ago about Sweden's immigration policy and that tard jumped in on the first page with something about DeSantis. He's one of the dumbest SOBs on this forum, and that's saying something.
