I was a fan of how he handled the situation initially but I am growing really tired of the weekly flip flops and truth social diatribes. frick both of them, cut off all aid and sit it the frick out already.

Here's the thing Putin does not care at all what Trump wants or has to say. He will throw as many bodies and crash Russia's economy to win in Ukraine. Maybe not cause he wants to but now he has to. After 3 years of war the perceived fear and prestige of the conventional Russian military has been shattered.
I at times listen to Sarah Paine on YouTube. She teaches at the Naval War College and is an expert in many things including Russia. She said at this time Russia has two choices, to step back which Putin will not do. The second option is to double down which she said is the course he will take. And it will not be a quick process. So one of the two has to blink and of course that is Trump or Putin. Who do you think will blink?

Why does Trump have to blink? He doesn’t need to send US servicemen. Just ramp up production of high-end weapons. Think of it as a job-creating program, which it is.

Trump blinked and lost his nerve the moment he called Putin a crazy person.

Trump was clueless about Ukraine attacking Moscow with Hundreds of Drones from May 20-22 and also had no idea about the alleged attack on Putin’s Helicopter.

Ukraine has a manpower problem. That is not solved by more weapons. This was posted by Rob Lee who is very pro Ukrainian. Just in case the NAFO Trolls want to cry Russian propaganda

Sure, if you want the War to continue and Ukraine to lose even more territory. Ukraine is desperate for a break and needs time to train unwilling Soldiers that they are grabbing off the streets. That is why they are begging for a Ceasefire. What is Ironic about the whole situation is Ukraine would have a much better chance of not losing more territory if they actually gave up the 4 oblast that they already lost 80% or more of and signed a peace agreement. Instead they will continue fighting and probably lose at least another 2 oblast because they have severe manpower issues that weapons do not fix

I have no doubt that is the official line from Moscow

I give you a sincere well thought out answer and that is your response?

You gave speculation and twitter videos you’ve been posting all week.
Superior technology can make up for manpower shortages. That’s largely the reason Kiev in three days has turned into like 60 miles in three years.
Link me to the last criticism you’ve had of Russia.

My second post to you, the one you responded "line from Moscow" had no Twitter Videos or speculation. It is a undeniable fact that Ukraine has a manpower issue and has been begging for a Ceasefire.

What weapons are we going to start sending them that we have not already? Maybe the AGM-158 JASSM but we have limited stockpiles. We already have supply constraints on what we are sending them. The most you are going to see is more sanctions which have already proven ineffective for 3 years

I already said Putin has been way to soft and not aggressive enough. If I was President of Russia that last attack on Kiev would be more of a regular occurrence.

Probably, but not to the people since the media lies, spins and obfuscates.

Not sure calling Putin names will work this time
But like Barron Trump I didn’t get into Harvard
I may not be that smart

Yeah, that's how the world works. The US withdraws from the world and Russia doesn't.

So you are saying Russia is purposely engaging in a War of Attrition? Do you know how War of Attrition works? It's not something that a country with a supposedly superior military engages in on purpose. It is a result usually of two evenly matched military's trying to bleed each other dry because neither one has the distinct advantage over the other except in terms of population size. So which is it Russia is purposely engaging in a War of Attrition even though they don't need to ( that's dumb)? Or are you saying that Russia and Ukraine are equal militarily so a War of Attrition is the only option for Russia to win?

Also do you consider forced conscription and military recruitment from prisons indicative of a manpower issue?

Putin has not changed… at all.
He had somehow convinced Trump that Putin himself wanted peace, and that Nazis in Ukraine were to blame…
Why such far fetched ideas were so easily accepted remains a mystery.
Well, it starts with the most powerful voice in conservative media (Tucker) constantly glazing Putin.
Someone here made a post dissecting all of Dave Smith's (anti Ukraine/Russian apologist) talking points and basically everything Smith was peddling is false.
You almost have to wonder if these alt media pundits are being funded to spew propaganda.

Trump hard to understand. Remember when 45 was to meet north Korea leader in Singapore. John Bolton torpedoed meeting with his Libya Model statement. Now he has Keith Kellogg advising him. Kellogg has nothing to say that Russia wants to hear. Is it all for show with trump?
