And you forgot the most important part of that statement, which was the statement that followed where Ryan said emphatically that he doesn't support candidates that wade into the culture wars. Yeah...sounds like a ringing Ryan endorsement of DeSantis.

Trump makes that claim about everyone he’s endorsed. They play him to get his minion base onboard.
Desantis won his recent election by the largest margin in 4 decades with little to no help from Trump.
