The amount of mental gymnastics that is needed to blame any of this on Trump is astounding. The TDS riddled liberal doesn’t see that Trump is trying to stop a war instead of continuing. It's not that they can't, it's the verbal assurances in the early 1900's made by Western leaders that NATO would not move "one inch to the East".
Russia holds them to that "agreement" although it was never anything that was signed into action.

Because NATO rejected Russia years ago as a member and Russia doesn’t want NATO on its borders and they have shown the will to use military force to prevent that. NATO, particularly EU members, have not shown the same will. Does it make it right, probably not, however it is reality.
