Name three other post-1960 classics with ORGAN solos.

Roundabout - Yes (1971)

Argent - Hold Your Head Up (1972)

ELP - Karn Evil 9 (1973)

The list opens up quite a bit if you allow for synthesizers (80s stuff that really shouldn't count, but Steve Winwood's stuff was legitimate and he was one of the great rock organists coming out of the 1960s).

"House of the Rising Sun" - The Animals

I know it sounds crazy, because the song sounds so "late" 60s or early 70s, but actually 1964.

Wait you mean literally "post 1960" not "post 60s"?

That's crazy talk, then. The late 60s alone had shite tons. Hush, Whiter Shade of Pale, In A Gadda Da Vida, Gimme Some Lovin', hell even Zeppelin (JPJ in the hizzea) had Your Time Is Gonna Come.

I appreciate all that. My book report just got WAY easier.

Well, there is a house in New Orleans
They call the Rising Sun
And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy
And God I know I'm one

How did Axl's wife die in the video? At the reception?

You probably already saw this but here is Yes with Getty Lee on bass. Getty just rips it. LINK

Didn’t Bob Dillon have a lot of organ in his songs? Like a rolling stone, one of the all time greats, is immediately recognizable by the organ intro

Geddy. I once saw Jon Anderson play a set with Transatlantic. Good show.

It was probably during the shutdown and he had Chuck and Nancy waiting in the conference room.

Not sure I can appreciate why that was the greatest ever. 1.4 billion views seems to disagree though. Sweet Child of Mine is about the only Guns N Roses I am familiar with though.

Wait a minute. What?

DJT and Peter Brant are childhood friends, after all, and have always moved in the same circles.

Honestly, Tonight Tonight or Bullet with Butterfly Wings were the best I've seen. I wouldn't even say November Rain was GNR's best. You Could Be Mine was bad arse. Frick it, I'ma go watch it right now.

I actually prefer the Don't Cry video and song. Funny stuff with Slash's girl arguing with him and their car goes over the side of the mountain.

Given Mr. "I hate Trump cuz' he's a meanie"'s past, he probably beat her to death.
