I certainly would not call Afghanistan “The Middle East”; it is a Central Asian nation. Turkey is more “The Middle East” than Afghanistan. The UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Israel are modern countries. Syria, long an Iranian axis ally, is in the balance and working with the USA now. Lebanon hinges on the Iranian conflict. Egypt and Jordan are both stable US allies.
I think all of that more than justifies my comments. The key to the whole thing is Iran. End the Shia revolution there and the amazing flourishing of the UAE, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia will drive the entire region to prosperity.

Well, now all of his declarations that a settlement was in the works, a deal had been made, they were still settling things even while Iran was violating the ceasefire agreements, make total sense.

The question is whether you'll live long enough to see if this actually becomes a "forever" war, since we haven't even been there five months yet. I think we're right at the 4 1/2 month mark today.

They are starting to wonder right about now if they will survive for 60 more days. Bridges and infrastructure, Everything Military, Nuclear sites. Tunnels.
And when the time is right the leaders.
But don't let common sense get in your way.
And we will deal with China in Cuba next. The President will get this country reimbursed for our operations and then Mr Xi your influence will get our direct attention.
