You might as well finish his thoughts that you for some reason left out:

"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color," Kaepernick told NFL Media in an exclusive interview after the game. "To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder."

I replied to your lack of argument. Try harder.

Gotcha. So we aren't talking about mainstream liberals anymore, then?

Just the leaders mainstream liberals overwhelmingly voted for and supported. You know...people like you.

I hate Kaepernick, but I respect his right to be an a-hole.

As for the rest, the "these guys" I referred to, you know why they're doing it. You know, you have a bad tendency to lump large groups together and label them the same as the worst among them. That is, for groups you disagree with.

So have you forgotten your argument that "people like me" file lawsuits, demand destruction, and resort to violence against people we disagree with?

Nope. But people like you don't make the news. Nobody really cares about people like you. Except those you sue or beat. Much easier ( and more effective) to provide an example of someone universally supported by people like you doing things you people support.

Forgive me for not being able to fully interpret your eloquent post, but, which portion specifically do you object to? THat Obama was universally support d by mainstream liberals? Or that Obama's admin delayed and denied form 1023 of conservative groups? Or something else?

frick your "style of protest"!

quote:

Well, frick Trump's "style of governing".

You are just pissed because Trump is POTUS and sore loser lefties made fools of themselves when they bragged two weeks before the election that the election was over and Hillary was going to win in a landslide.

You simply don't like any style of governing that President Trump uses because you and your ilk are stuck with Trump as POTUS.

quote:

Standing for the flag during the singing of the National Anthem is the least someone can do to show their respect for the flag which represents our country and for who fought for it.

quote:

You mean like these guys have done a hundred times before?

They should continue to do it 101 times, 102 times, etc.

quote:

Look, I know you would suck Trump's dick just to lube it up so he can frick your wife,

I'm not married so your insult is meaningless.

quote:

you really have to see that most of these guys are protesting Trump and not the flag, our country, or our troops. This was all a response to him trying to dictate what others should do.

So you and they are just for the democratic process as long as your guy/gal wins.

Why pretend that it's about caring about social causes when it's just that you are having a hissy fit because Trump is POTUS?

quote:

If someone can't at least do that then they are just commie pinko scum

quote:

Tell me how you really feel.

You and the rest of your ilk are losers!!!

Get used to it!!!

I get that you think this is funny, but it's obvious you have no clue as to what Kaepernick has donated to cities just like the southside of Chicago. At least he's trying to make a difference.

This, right here. You again, lumping over half the united States into your "you all beat up people and sue them" schtick. It's not even a good argument to have. It's weak, and you know that.

Much easier, and much more disingenuous. It's lazy, and expected.

Since you've abandoned your argument that "mainstream liberals" resort to violently forcing things they disagree with out of existence, while the well-behaved "mainstream conservatives" simply ignore things they don't agree with, maybe we can get back to the other topic we were discussing? That is, how much of a clown you are?

I guess from your pov, DS...the guys that stormed Normandy Beach were 'melting' and 'whiners' who were 'triggered' by Hitler.

Trump/Trump Nation is attacking; that is not the same as the 'snowflake' version that can't even bear to listen to criticism...much less take blow and then fight back. And win.

There will be other battles...but this one is over. The folk know, and are pissed. Either the Owners step up and take the politics off the Field...or their Anti-Trust protection will be revoked and the Free Market will finish off what's left of em'.

I do not think it's funny. I think it's tragic. And I could take Kap and the rest of these protesters more serious if they addressed the situation more vehemently than their perceived social injustices. I've been called a racist just for bringing it up. But if you watch MSM there is little being said about it other than "another 10 people were killed in Chicago over the weekend."

Don't preach to me about a splinter in my eye, when there is a plank in yours.

Funny thing is, he was prolly the last one to say something about it. It was almost as if these dumb Dems begged for it.
