Trump has got to stop saying things are getting cheaper. Biden admin did the same thing and it pissed people off to no end. Be honest and try to fix it or Vance is in trouble

So some of your items increased drastically. There was no across the board 20-30% increase. Don't be fricking stupid, Roger. Or make the numbers more believable.

You can’t “fix” inflation in our system.

Prices are ridiclous. While Trump is an improvement over Biden the fact is cost keep climbing. Just did open enrollment for my insurance and rates went up 12%. It is starting to put pressure on me and my family which I haven't experienced in 15 plus years. My car insurance is 417 a month with no tickets or accidents. This will be unsustainble for most people if it continues. I am fortunate, but many around me are sinking.
People need to step out of their airtight bubbles and talk to real humans. Most people are going to struggle unless drastic change happens quickly.
I said it long ago, unless Trump focuses on bringing affordability to the population (anti inflationary policy) we will have Dem Socialists running the country in 4 years.

Seems like a bold strategy imoto combine perishable items with the (temporary?) loss of guaranteed SNAP income

I remember. This board and "influencers" on Tweeter became suddenly obsessed with the term "gaslighting", as if they had never heard it before.

I was shocked this morning. Went at 6a, when its not busy and shite was through the roof.
We are usually a little higher than lower 48 in JNU, but not this high. I took this pic to show my wife her favorite candy, an 8 pack of tiny chocolate bars went from $1.99 to $4.25 in a week.
Meat was even worse. I dont know how people are buying beef right now, good thing Ive got a freezer full of deer and fish.

Grocery prices are never going down, why were you led to believe they were and actually could?
That was one of Trump's Day one promises. Did I believe it....well I had hoped lower gas prices would eventually lead to lower prices on the shelves. That was what I think most thought. Look its one thing to tell folks we are still working on the issue. And explain why its difficult to accomplish. Its another to completely bullshite folks by congratulating myself for lowering prices when its clearly not the case and folks are struggling.

Here there is. Did you miss that part? You have the same reading malady your Comrades have.
The affordability crisis will kill the Republican party if Trump doesnt get his head out of his arse.

easily.
Did my weekly check this morning. Some items are double the price they were last week.
I spent 59 last week on the same exact list I spent 80 on this morning.

I just paid 40 bucks for 2 bags of groceries at Kroger, without buying any meat.

And he didnt take 30 seconds to look into the details of the CEO's post. He doesnt have the wherewithal to know how ridiculous a 25% reduction in food cost for a Thanksgiving dinner from last year (or any food cost) from a year ago sounds and how far out that is from any possible reality?

People are going to have to make a lot of sacrifices, because they've been getting by on credit and the credit is being maxed out.

You should know damn well what's going on in Alaska and Hawaii is not comparable to the lower 48, it just isn't.
You could have a small supply chain issue there that has no effect on the rest of the country.

I bought bacon at Dorignacs yesterday. A lady standing next to me was looking at the bacon because she wanted BLT sandwiches for dinner. She was agonizing over the prices. The bacon that was in her price range was shite according to her. It was tough to watch. I should have given her ten bucks but it was too awkward.
