Mayors handle cities. Governors handle states. It's not for the potus to interfere, unless things are truly dire.
Right now, a lot of mayors and governors are supporting the destruction of their states and cities. They've all the tools needed to put an end to the riots, they just refuse to do so. In de blasio's case... he lets the rioters run wild because his kid is out there rioting. He's willing to let nyc burn, in order to make his dumbass daughter happy.
Trump needs to wait until the Democrat local politicians beg him for help. Until then... he needs to sit back and watch. Let the citizens of ny, mn, Washington, etc.. see what kind of local politicians they elected.

It is completely obvious that democrats are willing to allow violence and destruction of their own cities to try and paint Trump as a dictator. We all see that. If people vote him out of office with all these bs tactics by the democrat party then our country is in a really bad place.
There is plenty of smoke pointing to people within the democrat party supporting these rioters and violent groups. It is sad.

The National Guard would be federalized under Title 10 of the U.S. Code and under the direction of the President. It’s been federal law since 1956 and is a statutory exception to Posse Comitatus.
