It doesn't matter what each of our definitions for this are, it matters what groups have hijacked these terms.
As of now, the majority opinion in this country is that these Nazi idiots are the white nationalist and alt-right, and naming their rally "Unite the Right" makes it sound like all conservatives are now Nazis. It's funny how American political discourse must fit within a certain prism. Trump has to disavow specifically the statements or actions of people who may have voted for him and that Trump has no control over, or be labeled a racist or a Nazi.
Meanwhile, the very same politicians who think it a crime he doesn't specifically disavow these "racist" views have no problem operating a foreign policy that indiscriminately kills scores of brown people the world over. Yet that doesn't qualify any of said politicians as being racists or murderers.
