Trump mentioning "racehorse theory" in Minnesota

It's interesting. A couple years ago somebody did a biography on Trump, and he said in it that the Trump "family" subscribes to the racehorse theory. But I didn't see any quotes attributed to Trump talking about racehorse theory. He says he has good genes, so he's smart, like his uncle, etc. He jokes and says Ivanka is great because she has great genes. But him mentioning it last night ... either he sincerely believes in it or he was trolling based on that biography piece.
I feel like people in Minnesota talk about the hearty Nordic stock, though. But I guess for the rest of this week Trump will deal with this until he names his Latina SCJ pick.

You believe in science and evolution?

My bad. Fixed. He said it in MN when he was there. Recently.

I don't "believe in" science. Science proves things, though. When it does.
I do believe in evolution.

Semantics.

Yes. Applies to all animals including humans.
I can't tell you how many times I've heard AAU coaches say, "Look at his parents. He comes from good stock. He has a lot of potential."

Genetics is real. That is why there will never be equal outcomes in life. Some people, indeed some SOCIETIES, are superior to others in physical, mental, and psychological characteristics to others.

True, but environment also helps.
Trump’s niece has very similar genetics to his kids but she is a worthless piece of shite for various reasons that likely aren’t genetic. Provided Fred Jr’s alcoholism wasn’t incipient.

Ummm... Hate to break this to you, but genetics are real, my friend.
IQ, height, weight, strength, melanin content, straight vs curly hair, etc. all passed from generation to generation. There is nothing theoretical about any of this. I still do not understand why it is hard for society to admit that most of the differences we see in racial groups are due to these genetic differences. They will embrace genetically derived differences like melanin or size as a badge of honor, but IQ is ignored, for example.

If I had to guess, in general the 80-20 rule applies. 80% genes, 20% environment. Everyone needs a good environment to reach their full potential however some people's ceilings are higher than others and that is due to genes.

Pretty much this.
Genetics shows your likely potential while environment influences your chances to reach that potential.
You always get an occasional ghetto genius or a number of well-bred frickups but those tend to be the exception to the rule.

Discussing DNA is now "controversial".

Trump was a little over aggressive on the anti-Somali and anti-refugee rhetoric in a recent rally in Minnesota - the one on Friday or Saturday (they all kind of bleed together for me).
It was a little too hot - the folks at his rally obviously didn't mind, but that would be off putting to a large swath of "Minnesota Nice" and "Wisconsin Nice" female voters that he needs to win those states.

Oh Jesus fricking Christ, just destroy the fricking country now if pandering to that delicacy is required to win.

The interesting thing about IQ is that there is such a high correlation with marriage partners. Short people marry tall people. Catholics marry protestants. But high IQ people do not marry low IQ partners.

The MSM has compared his comments to Hitler’s theory on eugenics. Lol
