You think W and Trump might have something in common?

That's a lot of made up people.

We do? How exactly do we all know this?
I know people with inside info. The fast food thing is 100% true as well.

To add to the record: We're on page 7 and no one has actually defended Trump's NOT reading the memo.

I made the decision to down vote before reading your thread.

I don't have to defend things that aren't true.

But I can read newspapers. That's what I'm basing my opinion on.
they haven't read the memo yet, either
quote:
What are you/SFP reading?
a lot of wild speculation from un-named sources on both sides of the aisle, which means nothing of importance
quote:
What leads you to believe the FBI is trying to protect itself?
self interest
Game Theory
history of bureaucracy in pretty much every form
why would the FBI not protect itself?
quote:
Why do you think there is some bombshell to come from the memo?
i think that this memo centers around using the DEM-funded Steele memo to justify a FISA warrant against Page
it's not a bombshell as much as connective glue that, in the most favorable light, makes HRC, the DEMs, and the FBI look very bad
"very bad" does not mean they committed a crime, but there are legitimate inquiries that need to be investigated if this is revealed. also, if this is the substance of the memo, the arguments for "national security" are bunk.
quote:
So many of you are CONVINCED the FBI is hiding something. Why is that?
uh
they're an arm of the federal government
they're LEO
they're a bureaucratic body
i could keep going

Obama said he learned shite all the time by watching tv news. Even his news conference spokesmen said so. I heard Carney and Ernest say this several times. What's your point?
BOOM! The hypocrisy of the left is stultifying.

I’ve read the minutes of the HIC meeting ( vote to release)
I’ve watched / listened to CNN ( linked an interesting interview in a post yesterday)
I’ve read the same documents you have.
I have made no assertion of what is in the memo or what it means.
I am for sunshine. I cannot understand your idea that we ( the people) should not have understanding of what our Fed police are doing.
I’m unafraid of a police force that isn’t allowed complete secrecy. I want information.

Please tell me you dont actually think that he didn’t have access to the memo.

because it relies on un-named sources and even if it's true, it's a nothingburger
you're misrepresenting the story. he didn't read the memo BEFORE he wanted it published.
quote:
The president did not actually see the memo — written by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) and Nunes’s staff — until Wednesday afternoon
quote:
White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly marched the document into the Oval Office so that he and Trump could briefly discuss it before the president’s meeting with regional reporters.
The president was then left alone to read the memo in its entirety.
he has read the memo
