I haven't read it, and believe it should come out.

Trump and I agree as do millions of others.

Turn on the lights. Watch the roaches run. This party is over.

Typical liberal.

Shouldn’t the Commander in Chief actually read a document the FBI says could do damage to our national security before deciding to release it?

I don’t know, shouldn’t Pelosi and other Dems have read the affordable health care act before passing it?

Everyone is full of chit and self serving. It’s time to drain the swamp.

That's alright, most of the people opposing releasing the memo made their decisions to oppose releasing it without reading it either. So it's all good.

Some moron on Laura Ingraham's show last night said, if I remember correctly, that he hadn't read it, because if he had read it, then he couldn't talk about why it shouldn't be released. That's some good logic right there.

This illustrates the media’s bias and ignorance. The process is this:

intelligence info is segmented and not connected.

Congress has elected to release information.

The executive branch gets the info to review.
The executive can redact, edit or reject the release. If reject, the entire House would vote.

The President can also do nothing. And the intelligence would be released on day 5. So, Trump can’t decide before to release. He’s just saying he’s ok with HIC decision and will release as is.

So, before it was on his desk (therefore, before he could possibly read it) he is “convinced “ that he trusts his party’s leaders on that committee. It says NOTHING about his ability to change his mind after he actually had a chance to read it.

He decided to release it before reading it because he thinks it will discredit the Russia investigation. It was reported yesterday. He said he thought this story would damage Mueller's investigation.

His own DOJ (led by republicans) say the memo is misleading and overly partisan. The FBI (led by a republican appointed by Trump) says it could reveal sources and methods and that it could damage national security.

the assumption here is that their alleged partisanship outweighs their allegiance to government

*ETA: and i addressed the "Sources and methods" issue last page, before BHPs post

Haha

DOJ and FBI says it’s wrong?

Gawddamn, lets take a poll in prisons and ask those bad actors if the evidence was wrong, too.

Why do you really object? I am unafraid of a Fed police force having to work a little more in the sunshine.

You cannot be scared that a nothing memo might be read by the citizens. So, I’m left to assume that you do not want a SOMETHING memo to be available.

Wow.

Trying to oust the sitting president has no bearing on national security. Leaking information from sources has no bearing on national security. Breaching classified correspondence has no bearing on national security. carry on.

i have no idea why this is so controversial

especially to the left, of all groups

"national security" is the hallmark argument of the right

it's very likely this memo just talks about how the FBI used a DEM-funded oppo research memo to get a FISA warrant

assuming that's true, why do we want to protect anyone involved?

assuming that's true, why would we want to protect those methods?

I don't care about it revealing people who committed a crime. I don't think there was a crime - and I think you guys have yet again fallen for a conspiracy theory. I just want to protect sources (spies) who are responsible for collecting intel ..... or are they a part of the deep state too?

I hope the memo comes out (redacting where necessary). It was reported yesterday that many republicans think it will be a dud. A "bombshell" about extending surveillance on Carter Paige is a dud. This will make Nunes and Trump look even worse.

Trump feel the noose tightening. He's trying to muddy the waters. That's all this is about.

Also: Sorry about the slow response. Evidently I'm the only one scheduled for this shift this morning.

You are too stupid to even acknowledge that piece of “journalism” is a joke.
