So 2024 should be a banner year with independents for Republicans.

I'm sorry, who said they love Trump?

I've been saying Trump and DeSantis both have the same headwinds.

This clearly undercuts the "Desantis is more electable talking point."

It's total baloney.

I'm not sure I understand where you're going with this statement.

No it doesn't, dumbass. You think 11 people in a poll with shite methodology completely flips the election results from a few months ago.

You people live in fantasy land

Trump has done nothing over the last 3 years to grow his support in a general election.

If anything he has shrunk it thanks to his bullshite election conspiracies

I understand. How's that possibly related to the GOP being "in trouble"?

Doesn't the poll show Trump dead even with Biden but DeSantis beating Biden?

I am assuming Florida is more than a (+5)R state. Just going by recent elections.

If the best we can do is "tie" Biden in Florida, we(the GOP) are in trouble.

“DeSantis has a potential problem with independent voters. Over half, 51%, of independents disapprove of the job DeSantis is doing as Governor. Driving these voters’ disapproval of DeSantis is independent women, 61% of whom disapprove of DeSantis. Also among independent voters 50% disapprove of DeSantis handling of education, 43% approve,” Kimball said.

How many millions voted for Biden "the moderate", "the adult" and were delivered an administration more radical and incompetent than even Biden's critics could have imagined?

Do you think they will be fooled again? How do you think those people would compare the Trump presidency and the Biden presidency today?

Hell 17% of Biden voters said the Hunter laptop story might have changed their vote.

Well he is not POTUS and his picks cost the GOP the senate in 22. So he is on a 2 cycle losing streak

Trump cost the GOP the Senate in 2020. It was the stupidest move in political history. That is a disqualifier by itself.

Trump is hated by suburban women and a good chunk of Independents and will NEVER get their vote.

Look at how awful MAGA type candidates faired in the midterms in competitive districts which should have been a good year for Republicans.
