Because it undermines our faith in the law and the social fabric that exists between citizens.

So git. Hope you get deported from this board.

Gotta say, if you are getting responses like this from TBird, one of the most level headed posters on this entire site, you’ve gotta be doing something seriously wrong.

But how many Americans were even aware or even cared that these Hondurans were in the U.S.

To me it just looks like Trump decided to pick on them so he could fool his supporters into believing he is taking the country back and MAGA. And by this thread he has succeeded.

Scary times over there.

You can take care of your own people as well as showing respect to others.

It doesn’t have to be one or the other.

Agreed.
Undocumented immigrants can live here, and we don’t have a clue who they are.
I noticed you glossed right over my comment about the cost to Texas tax-payers.
Let me just say, it’s a very real issue for those of us who are living it, as opposed to those of you who simply read about it and choose to pass judgment.

He’s ending the TPS program because it was not temporary and being used as a backdoor to the immigration process

T is an easy going black guy. Not once has anyone ever accused him of being racist. I don’t know what you did or said, but if you’re getting a response like that from him, you better check what you’re doing here.

I would say exactly the same if it was happening where I am from.

That would be appropriate. It's inappropriate to think your opinion on the matter here is relevant.

Yeah, sovereignty is real. And, nations have the power to enforce however they want. You have access to our country because we allow it. Never forget that.

What the hell is a matter with you with your weird attitude.

As long as people are not breaking the law people should have the right to freely go to whatever country they choose.

Do you not understand what being in a country illegally means?

Uh no they don't.

Did you know that Mexico and Canada actually have tougher immigration laws than the USA does?

Y'all should ignore that guy. He's trolling every board he's on right now and trying to rile up everyone. He pissed off the Travel Board, who is about as nice and helpful of a board as there is.

You are breaking the law when you enter a country illegally. This isn’t some new concept that the US just dreamed up the past 20 years. Nations have always established their borders and decided who can enter and who can’t. You don’t have a right to freely go where ever the hell you like. Just as you don’t have a right to move into your neighbor’s house because it’s nicer than yours, you do not have any right to just move into another country because the one you’re in sucks.

If liberals can't meet in the middle on immigration reform instead of dragging their feet at every chance, more things like this will happen. I am still flabbergasted they didn't take GEOTUS's DACA deal. It showed how disingenuous they really are on this issue.
