Well they are essential places.
No link sure, but you don’t have to do clickbait titles.

I look back at my time as a Christian relatively fondly, apart from the wonder and embarrassment regarding how I believed some of he things I did. I made many great friends who are still my friends and really had no negative experiences. I also didn’t grow up in a fundamentalist type environment either so that was probably a huge contributing factor to my lack of disdain for my time in religion.
Hell I still go to church with family 2-3 times a year for their sake and it doesn’t bother me a bit.

What he doesn't understand is you cannot treat a Constitutionally guaranteed activity differently than a liquor store, or a grocery store, or a Wal Mart.
If it is safe to go there, or drive through some restaurant, then you're going to have to allow churches to meet.
Simple as that and if you do not you are violating their rights, period.

At some point you’ll have to deal more effectively with your childhood angst about religion.
How milktoast do you have to be to read that post and see "childhood angst"?
I know it sounded good in your head, but maybe put that one on the side and save it for later when you can actually apply it...

Well said, there was a big split in the atheist community over "elevator gate" back in 2011 and that was my first experience with the progressivism we see today.
Atheism is viewed as a compartmentalized and weaponized denouncement of religion by some and not a natural result of logical, rationale thought. They are only “rational” in this one area but believe nonsense in others, which is exactly how the compartmentalization of religion works.

Which really thickens the irony since, for the most part, the atheist community saw their dedication to rational thought as a defining characteristic.

Any word on why Trump views churches as essential in May, when he never has previously?
Has he had a religious experience with Paula White?

Maybe because there are far leftist politicians keeping them closed in places when you can go shopping at the mall next door?

No, the President is the one who listed "essential" places in the first place. He didn't list churches.
Maybe he didn't feel a need to pander back then.

My church (in Florida) is already doing this. Have been meeting for the past two weeks. No issues (as expected).
It’s almost as if people when left to their own devices are more responsible and find better than solutions than government does.

This is not hard Nit.
We tried to shut down everything we could at the beginning to mitigate and see what would result.
We are now getting to the end and since some nitwits want to keep churches shuttered DJT tries to put an end to that.
Sometimes doing right and getting votes go hand in hand. One side cheers one side yells.
