This is illustrative of the error Trump made at the beginning of the Iran war. He chose not to build a coalition but instead go at it on his own with his Robin (Israel) in tow. When he got both arms and a leg stuck in the tar baby that is Iran he started asking for help. Of course, all our allies jumped at the chance to get in on some of that sweet tar baby action as well... not. Build coalitions before you are in the shite; geopolitical war-fighting 101.

SK and Japan are two of our most important allies in Asia, ones we will need if hostilities ever break out with China. Sucking up to the NORKs and spitting in the face of the SKs is just plain stupid. We need joint military exercises with our allies, it is crucial. Getting rid of them is beyond stupid.

There’s nothing wrong with wanting and expecting friendly relations with the North Koreans. They’re a nuclear power (thanks to Clinton era boomers that are now MAGA) and that’s not going to change.

The idea that South Korea - who was once heralded as the pinnacle of capitalist achievement over communism I might add - is an ally to be discarded because they hurt Trump’s feelings over Iran is madness.

Your opinion is worthless. Only other Plan trusting MIGA's give any credence to anything you post.

Even Bush built up a coalition before going to war in the ME. What’s funny, is this essentially how we got into the ME with Bush. Neocons and Netanyahu said Saddam had weapons of mass destruction (“Iran was two weeks from a nuclear bomb” which has been said since the mid-90’s). Under false pretenses, we attack another sovereign country - yes, Iran was and still is one of those - in the name of regime change. After 20+ years, we leave the place the same or worse off.

It’s funny how we suffer amnesia. This is the same thing that happened in the War on Terror. Interestingly enough, Israel has been the loudest cheerleader for our involvement in both cases.

Meanwhile, our country back home is going to hell culturally, spiritually, socially; the Epstein files haven’t been released; not a single politician has been arrested; and the gay socialists are getting elected. Meanwhile, Trump is worried about the friggin ballroom and reflecting pool.

All this to say, yeah, I don’t give a frick about Iran, never have, never will. The house burns while we watch out the window wondering what the neighbor is having for dinner.

His statement is unbelievably fricking dumb. But the exercise is only being scaled down some. NHK (Japanese state media) confirmed it. It doesn’t excuse his claimed good relationship with Kim or South Korea’s status as a non participant in a war of our choosing as justification for this statement.

This is yet another self inflicted error. Earlier this year it was very difficult to find many posters that would openly be critical of Trump. That has changed dramatically since the Iran War started. He’s losing support and there’s no denying it. Maybe the Left capitalizes on it and maybe they don’t but this stuff shouldn’t be happening. Especially during an election year.

Right. We just kind of did a Leeeroy Jenkins on Iran. I think it's why the conflict is not popular here and doesn't have support with allies.

This level of drama is how I know conservatives will never have the fortitude to win the cultural war against communists and islamists.

A conservative calling for a duly elected president to be removed. We believe in the Republic until Trump makes us angry.

South Korea has been reliant on us for way too long. By any measure, their economy is thriving while ours isn’t. The Korean Conflict technically, although not officially, ended many decades ago. The inevitable end result is going to be reunification in some manner.

lol no shite. “I voted for him 3x but get rid of him 2 years into a term”. What a fricking loser mentality. People like that shouldn’t be voting.
