Democrats follow news sauces that say Burisma is a hoax and DJT had no justification to investigate. (The whole peach mint is based on the claim that Trump had no basis to investigate.)
Biden's problem is he sucks as a candidate. In another month we'll know whether he's Mittens (nobody wants him but the alternatives keep flaming out) or Jeb! (establishment loves him but voters hate him).

Pelosi knew impeachment wouldn't work but attempted to ram in through in an act of desperation to unite the party behind Orange Man Bad. Trump has masterfully turned it back around on her and the DNC is once again threatening to dissolve into chaos and civil war just as Trump is about to be found not guilty of wrong doing in the Senate.
I don't know WTF Pelosi and the Dems were thinking by impeaching Trump and using Ukraine and Burisma as the basis. It was only going to drag Biden down. It also served to highlight to the Dems radical wing how corrupt The Dem establishment is. Just like Trump blew up the RINOs, this whole fiasco has emboldened and positioned Bernie to win.

covfefe wasnt a mistake, it was a shiny object to distract while they circle jerk thinking they got a win to say trump is dumb while non SJW idiots simply DGAF
same thing with the KC thing, it was a shiny object to distract while they circle jerk thinking they got a win to say trump is dumb while non SJW idiots simply DGAF
but no one is talking about um peach mint and by the time they are done laughing about a simple mistake 9 out or 10 people would make, and a mistake that makes us love him more for being just one of us, and he will be acquitted before they finish laughing at the shiny object to distract them

What mistake are you talking about?

The Dem voters overwhelmingly support this shitshow without a care in the world that it's a lie. Pelosi knew it was going to be a disaster but shutting it down would have cost her the gavel. And that's not entirely vanity on her part. Who would be in line to replace her as a Dem Speaker? Schiff? Waters? The bimbecita? As horrifying as it is to accept, Pelosi is the voice of sanity in today's Democrat Party.

His formula is very simple. Trust your instincts instead of relying on political advisors who have lived their whole life in D.C.

I think that's probably true. I think it's bitten him on the arse a couple of times, but overall it's hard to argue with his success.

Debatable.

a serious threat to upset Trump in the general election
Maybe in his mind but no one elses. Trump unless there is a serious economic crash, will win easily.

He won the election that way - running a very campaign that defied the conventional wisdom.
He scares a lot of people, because the establishment can't control him. The Democrats want desperately to get rid of him, and I think there are a lot of Republicans who secretly hope they succeed.
Time will tell if he is truly planning to do all he can to "drain the swamp", or if he is just dangling that carrot in front us to keep us on his side.
