And DeSantis has no baggage whatsoever. What’s your point? I’ve said that Trump would in all likelihood win in 2024 if he were the candidate, but he’s not the right candidate given where we are as a society.
Here is my opinion on Trump in relationship to the country and the Oval Office: He’s the Hero this country deserves, but not the one it needs right now. DeSantis is the opposite: He’s the Hero that this country doesn’t deserve but the one it needs right now.

If Trump is the nominee in 2024, I will support him.
But he would NOT win.
If he had simply turned off his Twitter machine after he won the first time, we wouldn't be talking about this as he'd still be in office. He blew it and we need to move on.

HE is. He is on a limited clock and is the only person that can continue to expose the rinos and rats. I have no desire for them to be allowed to slither back into that dark spaces and move the nation back in the Clinton/Bush/Romney direction.

A write in candidate beat Buffalo Mayor and the Right just won all of Long Island. I’m not saying that Trump would win New York, but with the right candidate New York is back on the table. I think it’s possible (30%) that DeSantis could take New York.

You’re not bringing up any of the downsides to DeSantis and just worshipping Trump. You have yet to provide anything that Trump can do that DeSantis can’t. The only major thing Trump has over DeSantis is he’s a better rallier, and with DeSantis being the nominee Trump could do that all the time for him.

It goes back to what the facts are.
Trump grew the party in 2016. He expanded it in 2020 by 12 million votes. He start out reach to places NO GOP CANDIDATE WOULD EVER ALLOW. To them it was useless.
81 million people did NOT vote for Biden.
