Sounds like total bullshite or something totally taken out of context that the media wants to tie into Flynn’s coup comment and January 6th hysteria. Nancy and Chuck will next be saying another “insurrection” will be attempted in August or something. All theatrical bullshite.

To be fair, engaging in an overthrow of the government via a widespread conspiracy to steal a presidential election clearly deserves the death penalty.

Unless it comes from Trump himself, I don't know why any one would believe any article.
We lived with hardcore opposition and an adversarial press during his 4 year presidency.

The most likely explanation is that the journalist who is also the source is lying.
But there is still a tiny possibility that he would lie about something like this to get attention, he has leaked tapes that make himself look bad for attention before.
But that's a tiny chance in this case because of what is being said.
I haven't noticed him being in the news that much since leaving office.
They still talk about him but not nearly as much as they were.
