I’ve taken it off and on for at least 8 years. It’s usually the first line of defense with any kind of autoimmune arthritis because it’s so cheap and safe, and in my case it definitely helps. I don’t doubt that if your system is already stressed because you’re sick with corona, then yeah, disturbances in your heart rhythm due to HCQ could become more likely or more serious. I’d expect most patients who are just getting it prophylactically are highly unlikely to develop a dangerous arrhythmia, though, much less drop dead. This is literally an OTC med in a lot of countries where malaria is common. There would be mass casualties all over the world if this were the heart-exploding poison that some are making it out to be.

If he's really doing it, then I'm guessing it's under doctors supervision, and it seems to be working.

There is truth in this. His comments on them media do not indicate he is shocked that they would attack him, he is merely pointing it out. His supporters taking up the cause though and claiming a bias toward anything other than profitability is simply childish. He is the president. The press is going to attack him. He is going to react. It is the job of the press to sale pecker pills and walk in bath tubs.....it is the job of the president to lead the nation...I suppose it is the job of the presidents supporters to go about wringing their hands and rending their garments over how unfair the media is to their man...but it is childish and if anyone didn't know it was going to happen they are a damned fool....
