Trump is a proven racist because back in the 1970s some manager of some apartment building the Trump real estate company owned was not renting to to black people. Trump didn't know the property manager and the Trump company did not have a policy like that in place but clearly this is proof that he is a devout racist. Yes, that happened 45+ years ago but once a racist... always a racist. No matter what, people cannot change what is in really in their heart.

Bloomberg on the other hand clearly made racist remarks on video and audio tape over a 7-8 year period but he said them calmly and quietly so he probably didn't mean it. Besides, one of the statements he made in 2015/2016 is in the past and people can change. It is not in his heart now and he regrets saying those things.

Am I doing this right??? Can I work for MSNBC now?

Is that racism or a good business practice?

Father in law owns apartments in Daytona Beach and Ormond Beach and it is mostly white folks that tear his shite up. He said in general families of any race take better care of rentals and property. He prefers families.

Well that solves it then. A father in law in Florida has spoken. Thanks, man.

People really need a thorough lesson of the definition of racism and the difference between racism and facts.

Oh wait, they are delusional. Nevermind.

Former owner of 8 rental units. ALL tenants don't take of your shite. But I had more trouble getting money from POC generally speaking.

Trump sued, and won, over those allegations of discrimination back in '75 or whenever it was.

The city was trying to force him to rent to welfare recipients. His position wasn't necessarily that they wouldn't rent to welfare recipients, but that all tenants had to pass the same background check. The welfare recipients were not qualified to rent from Trump. And it wasn't racial anyways...There are white welfare recipients too and they would have been disqualified as well.

It's pretty pathetic for people to trudge up disproven (as in, a court of law) allegations to try and smear the man 40 fricking years later.

I used to work with a black female and she said Trump was racist and I said "show me 1 thing, just 1 and I'll shut up forever."

She sent me this shite about Trump's dad and the apartment thing and guess what the other one was? When he said during the campaign in 2016 to a group of black people at one of his rallies about voting for him "what the hell do you have to lose?" Seriously.....I told her to stop listening to EVERYONE and think for herself.

Well that is racist. You can't mention families and fathers in the house hold without offending lots of people.

Neither Trump nor Bloomberg appears to be particularly racist.

Can we now address real issues?

We'd love to but every Dem voter throws the race card or the Orange man bad card or the failed real estate tycoon card and cannot argue policy. What has Trump done during his tenure that is so bad? Try not to insult him.

Sure Hank, you just let us know what topics you find acceptable.

Really, you freaking fraud - you come to a discussion board on a sports site pretending that you are only interested in lofty policy discussions?

How does this address decolonization, intersectionality, peoples of color, and white nationalism?

"Is that racism or a good business practice?"

I know it's illegal discrimination on the basis of race.

Bloomberg didn’t say anything racist and neither did President Trump when he basically said the same things Bloomberg did on those tapes.
