Indeed. The man put his ego to the side to serve us, the American people.

His ego and thirst for power put his freedom at risk. He believes he is above the law.

Nor does he work for free for 4 straight years while taking a $1B+ hit to his personal net worth as he does so.

Last time I checked - he's a multi billionaire and could be chilling and retired on the beach in Florida with his beautiful family

Well, this is futile... but

you need to check that multi-billionaire status more closely, it might be grossly inflated.

He liked to mouth off about politics and Republican primary stuff for attention.

He entered the 2016 Republican primary because it had reached a "put up or shut up" moment after years of saying he would run and then not doing it and people wouldn't report on it anymore... he just viewed it as a profile-elevation and branding exercise.

He won the nomination, and didn't expect to win the Presidency (and was unprepared to set an administration),,, he just thought it was a way to elevate his international profile and brand to make deals in places where The Apprentice wasn't a hot ticket.

He won the Presdency. He was miserable in the job...

interviewer: "If you could go back in time and tell young DOnald Trump one thing, what would it be?"

Trump: "Never run for President."

He lost in 2020, but can't handle it on an ego-level... and also views the Presidency as a "get out of Jail free" card, which he needs... and he increased that need by the things he did after the election.

He is only in it for himself.

Correct answer!

His mentors

#1 Trump Sr
#2 Roy

It would be like Gotti who sold an image to the public via the media but was always out for just himself.

That he does .......but until you've worked with a Developer of this magnitude ....you don't realize the size of that ego .......

The term "My shite don't stink" doesn't begin to define that person .....

On the other hand .......Biden stinks from the moment he wakes until the moment he shits himself to sleep........

There's no doubt Trump's ego and his desire to stick it to those who have worked tirelessly to destroy him the past eight years is why he's running in the upcoming election......I say good for him, we need a fighter and a disrupter on the Republican side in the current political environment.

Nobody would do this to themselves intentionally, Trump is the best of us all, from evidence not in question…

Addicts do addict shite and once he got a taste of being king of the world he's been chasing that high ever since. It's not about the money and certainly not about him just wanting what's best for the country out of the benevolence of his heart. An egomaniac chances ego driven things and being the most talked about and powerful man in the world with his own cult following to boot is worth whatever price he has to pay. Addicts tend to lose everything chasing their high, news at 11.

Replacing a conservative with a moderate over a petty, personal grievance doesn't feel very America First to me. It feels like a man putting his own interests ahead of the country's interest

Then act like most right wing retards who don't get their way. Stay at home on Election Day, or do something really retarded, vote Libertarian. Some of you people and your f'ing purity tests, just cut off your nose to spite your face.

Of course he does. This is no revelation. All politicians do. The difference is Trump sacrificed his wealth and public image to run for office. Every other politician gained wealth by running.

Trump isn't perfect by any means. Yet, you people constantly attack Trump while ignoring other politicians that do the same things.
