This could have been figured out before he was elected. He had guys like Stone and Manafort managing his campaign. Those are definitely swamp creatures of the worst kind

Trump was good on trade and climate, but didn't accomplish much on the border. Moreover, he was a big time grower of government, signed into law new powers for the surveilance state, extended Fisa when he could have killed it, and supercharged Obama's pentagon with cash. All very, very "establishment." And then we get to 2020, when he took the knee for the establishment and made it more wealthy and powerful than it has ever been.
