It is probably not a good way to describe it.
In the past Republicans completely got bulldozed by the media and Dems. Trump doesn’t let that happen.
The Dems never face the onslaught because the vast majority of the media are completely Team Dem. The Dems never get called out for anything and the media goes scorched earth on the republicans constantly.
