Until I reminded her about the days right after Katrina...when there was a four mile long line of New Orleans folk living in their cars and waiting for gas. No water. No food. Nowhere to go. If the La. National Guard had now shown up with guns, water and MREs the next day...the people in that line would have walked to our door. And given that many would have likely assaulted us had we ventured into their own neighborhood, on a full belly...She understood the need for "those guns".

Bottom line. Be patient, CM. We're in the 'third quarter'. It's politics. Trump MUST win next year, for a lot of this stuff to have any chance of being fixed. Otherwise, there won't be enough National Guard to avert the mess that an open Border, unlimited immigration, and Systematic collapse will ensure.

The law gives every law abiding citizen the ability to own a gun, there are many people that do not deserve that right or unable to harness the power of such a right.

I have over 20 guns may not be a lot to some but it is to me. I'm responsible in my use and care for my firearms.

Although a more indepth back ground check or red flag is not ideal its is something I'm willing to do in order to stop just 1 of these senseless killings.
