He’s been that way for years and years and even reaffirmed it during the 2016 campaign and all of his supporters proclaimed him the most conservative conservative to Conserve in the history of conservatism and overlooked (even denigrated and spewed vitriol at) actual, principled conservatives with solid, verifiable conservative backgrounds and histories.
