This I can agree with based on previous 8 years with Obama. Trump... not so much. He treats the dems like children. Shows them what they want to see and then yanks it away.
They literally have gotten Trump to do nothing they want. Tax reform, restricting immigration from Muslim countries, staying in climate accord, taxes, Obamacare, etc...

There isn't one. There were early reports from CNN, MSNBC, NY Times, etc.. that dems were getting what they wanted but none of that shite turned out to be true.

Why do a lot of you think Trump is caving? The Shutdown has already been named the Schumer Shutdown. All this is doing is squarely putting this on Schumer and the dems once they end the meeting without a deal and the government subsequently shuts down.

I hope I am wrong, but I just have this hollow feeling in the pit of my stomach at the thought of Trump and Schumer alone in a room deciding important shite. I saw what happened when he held the televised bi-partisan meeting. = "Yes, we can do a clean DACA deal" = "I'll sign anything you send me." Had to walk it all back.
Trump is too desirous of getting 'some kind of deal.'
