It took months of negotiations just to pass the House by a one vote margin. Why was Elon not weighing in before? It's been publicly debated, marked up, and drafted. A lot of GOP members, including freedom caucus members, voted for this bill because Trump asked them to. Elon has really thrown those guys under the bus.

Meh, they’re playing off each other. Trump wouldn't mind if Congress trimmed some pork from the BBB before it reaches his desk but can’t afford to be seen as not supporting it.
Elon wants to sell Teslas to TDS idiots again.
Odds are this whole Elon / Trump spat is being orchestrated to get the leftists off of Musk’s back so he can be more successful with Tesla and his other ventures
