If you mean in the sense of integrity, moral fiber, etc., the Oval Office has been occupied by many who have supposedly had that kind of character, but were shite for presidents or didn’t actually have “that” kind of character in reality.
I’ll take my president with the first kind of character who kicks arse over the second kind. The high horse types are usually actually pretty shitty people more often than not.
