this board will never believe me, i voted for Trump in 24 first GOP vote in my life. Haven't voted for a D since Obama's first term. I betrayed myself by voting for one of the major parties. They both are bought and paid for.

My first question is how does this compare to other years? What if this has been typical for Trump's financial people to already have been doing for years now? Is there documents showing 2024 or before?

If it’s legal why wouldn’t he take advantage of it.He made that clear to HRC during the debate when she accused him of cheating on his taxes.
He was just taking advantage of the byzantine tax code that is written by Congress to benefit very rich people of both parties.
Many members of Congress engage in insider trading with impunity even though it’s against the law.Nancy Pelosi is the poster child for it.
It’s a frisked up system to be sure,Tax codes shouldn’t be so complicated that armies of tax attorneys make a good living gaming the system.

Sure but you have to realize a high amount of individual stocks being rapidly bought and sold is harder to manipulate than doing one or two stocks here and there at precisely the right time. My point was this isnt a handful of individual stocks being traded at the perfect time, like we've seen with a some members of congress.

And yes tax form should be one page for individuals. As for corporations obviously a bit more. Get away from Fed & IRS and we could start solidifying that peat moss we tread on. A consumption tax and a doge chapter installed in every local, state and federal entity along with a .01 reduction of expenditures per year up to 15 years could help but the transition could be hard for the first couple years till systemic pride overcomes systemic breakdown of society we see happening
