America First in Mississippi was Chris McDaniel in 2016, but he endorsed Cindy Hyde Smith. Still scratching my head on that one.

Then JBE will be the next Louisiana Senator.
Louisiana already elected the guy twice and republicans seem unable to nominate a capable and inspiring candidate. And Democrats will support JBE massively by pouring money into his coffers.
So I expect Cassidy’s seat to be filled by JBE.

Good! We need to reform the GOP, not form a new party. Trump knows that now, apparently. I’m glad he does and happy he’s going to put his money behind primary challengers instead of a new party.

JBE as a US Senator. That's ALL we need! I'm sure he'll be portrayed as a moderate or conservative-leaning by the press, but we all know who he is; he'll be one of those who votes with his party when it's all on the line, but will vote "conservative" when his vote isn't needed. Too bad people in Louisiana will be stupid enough to elect him.

JBE is anti-abortion and pro-gun, which is enough for many of my fellow Louisianans to vote for him. I say it's either going to be JBE or Half-Moon Landrieu in 2026. Half-Moon may run against Kennedy in a few years.
