Trump is firing the person responsible for job numbers, which objectively looks like he is firing the messenger for bad news. That’s Karen behavior.
I think he should keep blaming her for every report and just discredit the numbers. That’s the smarter political play.

More than 2k people work for the BLS, but you really believe one person sits in a locked room and decides whether the number should be 4.2%, 4.1% or 4.0%. As if the director is the sole person who supplies labor statistics. Haha. I very briefly worked for this agency right out of college. He should fire all of them honestly. The whole organization could easily be replaced with a $1,400 laptop and some code.
