I just talked to a Saskatuwan truck driver about this for a long time. He runs back and forth between CA and US.
He wants to be a US citizen so bad he cannot stand it. Sick of Canada and Gov Trudeau..
He can get a card here now by starting a 50k investment business but cannot get his CDL here by doing that . Had a buddy that moved to Texas but could not get CDL so he startd a polot car business.

So, let me get this straight. It's ok to allow 20-30 MILLION 3rd world non educated people here for free but it is a dumb decision to allow business millionaires over here who will open new businesses, manufacturing, restaurants, etc etc etc creating jobs while paying $5 trillion toward the debt.

So as long as they pay it's okay for them to take jobs away from Americans? Cool. Like I said before, Trump says the people coming over will be highly skilled so I am assuming white collar workers. Our white collar labor force is currently 22 million. If he brings over 10 million workers, I would love to see how we are going to increase the white collar labor force by 45%?

That's not what is happening at all. A company like Apple will spend the money and buy the gold card. Then will import labor. McDonald's isn't going to do it for a fry cook. It's going to take away white collar jobs from Americans.
Economically, I am not sure it makes sense. Say Meta hires an Indian data scientist for a 7 year contract for 50,000 with 5% raises. Say a US worker would make a 150,000. A 100,000 savings doesn't make up that 5,000,000 over a reasonable period. Unless I am completely misunderstanding this, it's one gold card per person. No white collar worker is and certainly no blue collar worker is worth 5,000,000 unless it becomes indentured servitude over a 30 year period.
