Trump isn't telling the deep state of establishment to go to hell. He's appointing them and endorsing them. At what point does Trump's supporting things and people opposed to his base do you realize that he's turned on you?

A vote for Desantis will be a vote for the uniparty. He’ll be neutered and owned by the establishment/neocon usual suspects. Big frickin’ whoop.

I've never seen a politician stand up to the left like BDR. That includes Trump. What's the fear of Ron, that he will make an about face when in office? Well Trump has already done that so why are you still so pro-Trump, when he supports things that are fundamentally opposed to his base's stance?

That election was stolen by massive, unprecedented large scale voter fraud organized and perpetrated by some of the most powerful figures in U.S. government. Any so-called conservative who cannot see that and acknowledge that is either unbelievably naive or blinded by their hysterical TDS.

And you’re a unitard if you think Desantis will Buck the system in DC at all. He will be owned by Cheney/necons and the GOPe. He can't run a successful campaign against Trump without them.

Given past polls, the majority of this board wants DeSantis to STFU and frick off and stay on the sidelines in 2024 so we can have a coin flip election instead of a landslide.

They are trying so hard to get a fight going between Trump and Desantis to divide us; there’s a reason this is being posted here.

A few things:

1. Trump is the one doing the attacking.
2. The liberal media and groups like the Lincoln Project and individuals like Ammar Moussa, the rapid response director for the Dems have been defending Trump all day on Twitter.

They want Trump to be the nominee because he’s much easier to defeat. He’s toxic to suburban voters and independents, and the attacks against DeSantis don’t register anywhere near the same level with those voting groups.

Trump has had a nickname for his adversaries for his entire career political or otherwise. Do you have a problem with China virus? Or little rocket man? Probably not I'm guessing.

I'm not reading all 6 pages, but Desantis is a powerhouse right now and Trump is in it for himself, not America. He sounds like some Real Housewife husband, he just needs to quit

Why does he do this? DeSantis was the ONLY governor in the entire country who kept his state open and didn’t give into bureaucratic rule. It’s one thing to go after DeSantis, but this ain’t it.
Because most of the country does not live in Florida, and they do not know that. Trump counts on the fact that people are not going to check him on his bullshite.

Ron is going to be his opponent. He did the same thing to the field in 2014-15 and none of you bitched. In fact, I remember us all cheering when he humiliated (other candidates in the 2016 field)
Not all. Some of us saw through his bullshite and tried to help you do the same.

None of you TDS folks understand what's going on in the real world so you cook up phrases like "his bull shite" and expect to be taken seriously. Carry on you Don Quixotes. We'll fill you in after the wheels fall off the wagon.

There is a subtle, but very important difference. DeSantis has not announced he's in the field. So he can do a political rope-a-dope.

DeSantis can claim to ignore Trump while Trump continues throwing wild haymakers. Instead, he can allow his surrogates to do the dirty work.

Alternately, he can take advantage of the defacto blackout of Trump media coverage, keep his powder dry and refuse to give the message any amplification at all.

Until DeSantis declares his candidacy, it's a different ballgame than 2016.

Interesting. So he’s attacking Desantis for following the orders that his administration issued? What a fricking moron.
