I guess he figures it helps him close the gap or expand his lead. She'll peel off a few votes more from DeSantis than she will peel off from him has to be his thinking.

Yeah, his core is locked up, so much so they may not vote for DeSantis even if he's the nominee. He assumes that with DeSantis still building his core, Haley snagging 5% will only help him. He's probably right.

I'm about 100000x more interested in what a candidate has actually done than what a candidates says they are going to do.

Having seen Desantis work his magic in Florida, I am 100% confident that he would be as effective in DC.

So, if we're keeping score Trump has now put his support behind the following in less than a week:

1) Pence
2) McCarthy
3) McDaniel
4) Lindsey Graham
5) Nikki Haley

But DeSantis is the one that is the RINO?

Yeah but some guy who once attended a WEF dinner gave him some money that he used to become the most aggressively conservative governor in America

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I like the idea of having people on the record going in.

Read my lips!

Trump needs to go after Ron in my opinion. Who is Ron DeSantis that nothing he does can be questioned?

Yet another reason to hate Trump. Nikki Haley is an opportunist fraud.
