I mean, this makes sense, does it not? Levying sanctions on Russia at this point in time is not beneficial to our country.

That tacit admission that Russia is allied with the regime we're fighting in Iran, but then trying to spin they're not helping, while ignoring that's only because Russia is in a quagmire in Ukraine, while Trump is trying to end that impediment for Russia helping Iran against us, is amazing stuff.

It's hilarious that the guy that attacked Iran and doesn't care that it's driving up global fuel prices is calling out the guy that was attacked and retaliated against Russia by targeting refineries saying he doesn't care that it's driving up global fuel prices.

It is known that the Russians have provided targeting information to the Iranians. There isn't much point of trying to economically strangle the Iranian economy if you're going to give Russia a big lifeline. They're strategic partners.
