How can there rationally be both a law that seals the documents and releases those sealed documents at the same time?

I just did. Every article in the top 20 was as left leaning as they get, championed by the NYT. The only outlier was the New York Post, but that article was about how the congressman's mother just sold her house that was in the proximity of Mar-a-Lago. No mention of the bride or pardon.

I understand the need to move the goal post.

I am not in favor of presidential pardons at all = unless they are for correcting political corruption in their prosecutions - OR as a soothing initiative after long imprisonment where the convict performed exemplary service or otherwise showed unusual re-commitment of purpose.
And I REALLY hate all "last hour pardons" - IF they deserved a pardon do it the moment as you are convinced they deserve it. Making them wait even another day is a disservice to them and whatever 'cause' it supports.
Other than THAT - any last minute pardon just yells = CORRUPTION!!!.
At least these pardons are coming when they can be analyzed as is going on here and if found unwarranted, he will pay a political price.
