LINK

31% approval from AA's. Quite an improvement from where he started.

Strange how a paycheck can affect an opinion.

Edited to include link.

Much more complicated than this in my opinion. Black Americans were hammered by the media about Trump being a racist in 2016. Like it or not, the media set the expectations that Blacks would be second class citizens and Trump didn't care about them at all. Coming off the last 3 or 4 years of all the racial instability and race baiting by Obama and the DOJ, it was a good story to tell by the media.

Fast forward 2 years and things are quite different. Black unemployment way way way down. Paychecks are up. Taxes are down, etc... But the thing Trump never did was promise blacks he would take care of them only. This is what dems do a lot. Truth is it is almost impossible to target one specific race and do things that will positively impact them disproportionately to other races. Our economic system is too complex for this. The false promises and race baiting by the democratic party is being exposed every day.

On top of everything going well for working class blacks there are some serious issues in predominantly black areas that are governed by dems... Chicago, Baltimore, etc... Black folks see what continues to happen in these areas.

Also, working class blacks fully grasp illegal immigration and cheap labor and how it effects them personally. Dems can say what they want but American blacks, American hispanics, etc... understand the impact illegal immigration has on them, their family, and their community.

One of the funniest things Trump ever said was at that rally where he pointed at a black supporter and said “look at my African American there! Look at him!”

It’s clear that Democrats’ internal polling shows this same development which is why the media is working overdrive to push the Omarosa lies to fuel the “TRUMP is a racist” narrative.
