He needs to abolish Social Security as well, or at least enable people to claim SS regardless of income. If you put it in, you should be able take it out. Otherwise, it's another way the govt steals your income.

Cutting taxes is much better than sending out checks.

Firstly people getting checks a lot of them pay no taxes. They are a drain on society (not all, but most).

Second it helps the hard working Americans who pay taxes and would help them have a better standard of living.

Can you imagine how much economic activity would be unleashed? I could pay cash for a luxury car with what I pay in taxes.

There won’t be any new federal sales tax / flat tax.

He's eliminating the income tax and he won’t be imposing another direct tax.

Tariffs income will increase. Economic activity will be taxed indirectly via tariffs and corporate taxes for which revenue from it will skyrocket due to the US economy doubling or more in size from all of the new investment (20T this year alone) and re-onshoring of manufacturing.

The US market is a giant and past leaders have sold us out to line their own pockets instead of harnessing its power for We the People.

Its what he normally does when making a deal

My point has been consistent and simple the entire thread. We have to massively slash spending (by 97%) to square the numbers. Even listing the federal services you yourself claimed the fed needs to provide, tariff revenues cover about 10%

There was a time before Trump when cutting spending was a conservative position.

Tariff income will increase to over 1T in the years to come.

Government spending will be cut drastically, DOGE, Dept of Ed completely eliminated, much / many more.

New revenues streams will be introduced such as the $5M Gold card for legal immigration , loans instead of giveaways for foreign aid such as the recent Brazil loans that we profited from, having countries needing US security pay for it (WWII was 80 years ago, no need to give it away any more), trade deals which favor the US instead of robbing us blind while the deal makers pocket bribes.

If Trump gives it to us and JD can hold the line for 8 years following, once we taste true economic freedom again, it will be hard for the marxists to try and take it away again.

Great but stop putting the cart before the horse. Slash spending and then eliminate tax. We have a massive debt we're supposed to be paying down, right.

In my earlier post on p. 2 I already said I think the income tax elimination won’t come until his last year in 2028.

This point needs to be hammered everywhere but the media will bury it.

Eliminate federal income taxes and overnight people would super charge the consumer economy at warp speed
