We can't have a full blown trade war with China while in the midst of renegotiating our tariffs with every country of Earth . That's a bad place to be in
Now that Russia is fully dependent on China and India now after sanctions,
Trumps best bet would to form a bloc of EU countries and the Asian countries as a hedge. But that option is gone after Trumps tariff plans against them.

Trump has bungled this whole thing. The on again off again Tariffs etc.

Most transparent administration ever. Tells you exactly WTF is going on in his own way, of course, but he is speaking through social media to us. In the past administration and others before Trump, trade deals, countries kicking us and backdoor dealing was a mystery. Now, I bet all those countries hate that he's telling us when they are trying to frick us instead of smiling and practicing 'decorum'.

he's trying to strong arm these people while trying to protect our economy from freaking out at the same time
