We should not be taking in immigrants that need welfare. We have enough of our own citizens on the taxpayers dole.

Illegals can get government subsidized housing, ebt cards, send their kids to our schools for free and receive emergency medical care for free.
All of those things being paid for at the expense of the normal American citizen

When food stamps for one American kid is paying for a house full of illegals to eat on, or Americans are having to feed, clothe and doctor the children of Mexican citizens, then yes, illegals get welfare.

I'll go one step further.
If you aren't a citizen, you shouldn't be cashing a government check, period. Welfare...food stamps...etc, ever.

My beliefs about this mirrors my father's. Naturalized immigrants should never get a single federal benefit. There shouldn't be a single incentive for people to come here in the hope of eventually getting benefits.
And this is the ethos that made America great.
No immigrant should get a dime of public money.

This only applies to those doing it legally via the Naturalized route, not illegals. We need to close the border and consent decree sanctuary city doors.
