Get him on a debate stage with Biden and the election will be over in a half hour.

Do you not understand that trump is potus and his number one job right now is to serve the people, not campaign?

He and Biden can still have a few televised debates - any fence riders will jump one way or the other after those.

At this point it's all about reducing voter fraud.

Lol then why did he have his Tulsa rally? His mt Rushmore speech?

Those had the same amount of people as the convention would've had. According to the new changes Ronna made a few weeks ago. Only 6500 people.

But he has never stopped doing rallies even when he wasn't campaigning.

Maybe, maybe not, but it certainly isn't going to hurt him in the polls.

Let’s be honest: Unless you’re retired and wanting to show off your newest patriotic hat/bling, you don’t care about the party convention.

No offense at all to the red, white, and blue-wearing retirees.

Did you ever think he might like where he stands already? Or do you believe in fake polls and fake media?

I think with Florida cases increasing and deaths “spiking,” it was more of an optics thing than anything.

“The President is in Florida and 150 people died in this state today!!!??!!”

And challenging the election numbers, of course, as he did this even when he won and won't commit to accepting the outcome this time.

True but we didn't have a once in a lifetime pandemic in 2017, 18, 19.

I don't mind 4th of july speeches like at rushmore.

But during a crisis, I don't think a pres should be doing tons of rallies, even during an election year.

hell, for all we know trump cancelling rnc and a bunch of rallies might help him with voters who think he isn't taking covid seriously enough.

cancelling a great tradition like a convention in order to (in his words) "focus on protecting the people" is kind of statesmanlike.
