You're embarrassing yourself at this point.

A lot of white people votes for Obama because of the cult of cool. A lot voted for him because of Hope and Change. A lot voted for him because they really believed we could move to post racial.
It's also important to note that Trump is a blue dog Dem at a time when Dems were abandoning union workers, so a lot of what he said and did aligns with the Bernie Sanders crowd with workers rights.
Not saying you have to trust these flip-floppers, but Trump is a political crisis point. For people who like security, he was a complete unknown. A lot of people rejected him out of hand. People should change their mind after four years of Trump. He wasn't what his opponents presented him to be.

I get that, but I will always be skeptical of anyone who voted for Obama. Does it not raise suspicion for anyone else anytime someone who voted for a far leftist like Obama decides they're on our side?
Your concern about RINOs (Democrats who pretend to be Republicans) is well founded.
Have you listened to Kari Lake. Have you seen her go after the left, the media? Have you seen her overtly call out those leftist frickers?
I mean, if you analysis only goes as deep as what someone believed several years ago I can understand. I don’t know if anyone has been more MAGA than Lake.
So it comes down to trust and the alternative. There’s zero chance I’d vote for a McCain establishment Republican in Arizona. That’s a definite Democrat.

Snickered at this tidbit
You voted for Biden. You are one of the many responsible for our situation right now.
And like many of those idiots… you breeze over the despair of the current state of the country you helped mold and find something… anything… just a sliver.. of any little piece negative on Trump.
And you snicker at it??
It’s absolutely astonishing. There are no words.

You mean like DeSantis? Wait now..
The fact is that Trump's actions opened the eyes of a lot of people.
With your attitude, the GOP or conservatism will never grow because you would not allow it.
I'm not really surprised to see your ongoing campaign against DeSantis given your chicken little insecurities about Trump, but I've acknowledged DeSantis could be a disappointment. Probably not like Vernon Jones and Perdue and others you support, but it's possible.
And to be clear, I don't want to see conservatism grow in the same way you do - ie, walking away from conservative ideology to expand the base.

quote:Honestly, given the way McCain behaved like a little petulant warmonging b*tch after Trump won... Obama maybe wasn't the worst choice in that election. Obama was a democrat, but McCain was more than willing to be a democrat stooge when it came time to stand up for his (fake) beliefs.
I get that, but I will always be skeptical of anyone who voted for Obama. Does it not raise suspicion for anyone else anytime someone who voted for a far leftist like Obama decides they're on our side?

I did see the video where she dragged that CNN hack, which was awesome. I guess my statement wasn't so much aimed at her specifically as much as it was a general statement. I still maintain healthy skepticism for Obama voters. That would be like voting for Stalin and then claiming to be a Reagan supporter a few years later.

Fox News now is nothing more then a RINO news station . They want the establishment back in power , and pussies like you take the bait hook line and sinker every time . You’re a joke .

I think people make the mistake of assuming that if you doubt a Trump candidate's bonafides, you're indicating they're a leftist in disguise.
If Lake is a fake, I don't think she's a leftist. I think she's power/wealth-hungry chameleon with a good political skillset and no ideology beyond self. Which describes a huge portion of the political establishment.
