It was announced today by the U.S. Treasury that additional large scale Sanctions would be added to those already existing Sanctions on North Korea. I have today ordered the withdrawal of those additional Sanctions!

If you tell someone you're going to do something that will severely hurt their standing, they tend to reach out and try to mitigate your actions. I would assume that is what happened.

Probably told China if NK continues with their construction on nuke sites which they resumed recently, we will remove all chinese companies from the swift banking system and destroy Chinas economy overnight.

He was going to cut off all the financial access to all the high-ups in NK globally so all of their offshore money would be frozen. NK quickly came back to the table.
